My aunt and uncle got this monitor for me. I really liked it. It put my mind at ease. I always knew if she rolled off the mat. It was easy to transfer between our crib and basinet. it was a little cumbersome for taking back and forth to my parents house. I also really liked that the monitor told me the temp of the babies room. That was a great feature to have. And I liked the night light option. It wasn't enough light to wake the baby up but if I was in the room it provided enough for me to see the outline of things. I just wish it came with a monitor too. Now that my daughter is a toddler I no longer worry about her breathing (though when she had croup this monitor made me feel better.) but I want to see what she is doing. If they redesigned this monitor and added video too it would be a perfect monitor!

I received this monitor as a gift at my shower but brought it back for a video monitor which sadly broke but was under warranty and while I was waiting for the replacement, which takes 2 weeks, my friend let me borrow this monitor since she had two for her twins. I can't stand it. It constantly buzzes and interferes with anything electronic. It buzzes when my cell phone rings or you turn a computer. I always found my self turning the monitor down and then not hearing my son right away. It was hard to concentrate or watch tv. I didn't use the movement monitor but can't imagine the interference is better with that turned on. Glad I returned it when I had the chance.

I recommend it to all new mothers. It will definitely ease any fear of SIDS. I used this monitor with my first son and was able to finally sleep without the fear that something was going to happen to my baby at night. This monitor works perfectly when set up is done correctly. You really need a firm board under the mattress as recommended. If you don't, false alarms will occur. I was amazed how sensitive it is. I love all the features on the monitor. The most useful is the temperature. It may not be completely accurate, but it helped me maintain an appropriate temperature in the room for my little one. I like that it came with 2 monitors. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. My only negative is that it doesn't have video on it. There's a new angelcare model now that has video, but this wasn't available when I had my baby.

We received this as a shower gift. I like that it has two remote units and that the temperature is displayed on both. The night light on top of the main unit is not bright enough to be left on by itself. Sound is very clear. We have had no interference with this monitor. We had to put a board under our crib mattress to put the movement sensor pad on. Right now we use it as a sound monitor only but I like the fact that it has a sensor pad for when we are ready to put our baby to sleep in their own room for the night. The risks of SIDS is greatest within the first year of life. So we have plenty of time to try it out. Has belt clips on the two remote units if you're walking around or going outside. I am very pleased with this monitor.

We all know that "back is best" but if your little one will NOT sleep on thier back and parents are about to go insane from lack of sleep then this is a great alternative... what I mean is that our girls will not sleep on thier back. If we put them on their back they wake up and we get no sleep... (sorry we are not the cry it out family) so putting them on thier tummy let's them stay asleep but makes me worried sick thinking they may stop breathing. Angelcare to the rescue. We used it with our 1st and now our 2nd daughter. No problem with false alarms once we had it positioned right in the crib and it saved our sanity. BEST BEST gift we got! Highly recommend.

We decided against putting this on our registry, we found either team angelcare or against it and decided we did not want the electromagnetic pad close to our baby for the majority of his early days. If you're co-sleeping, as most parents are, you are so close to your baby you'll be able to know if anything is wrong. Some parents swear by this, but others have spoken of false alarms freaking them out, which for a first time mama like me, was not something I was ready to deal with! My son ended up sleeping in a rock n play sleeper his first few weeks anyway, so we wouldn't have even been able to use this.

We use just the basic monitor and parent unit. For a while I used the under the mattress unit but found it to be a hassle sometimes in getting it placed just right. Especially as baby grows and is moving around a bit more. Overall this monitor is great - it has two channels which is nice since we do pick up our neighbors monitor on the other channel. If it only had one channel and we were getting interference I would be upset given how much money this set is.

I have a friend who had a premature baby and she received this monster system as a gift. One night the alarm went off because her baby had stopped breathing and she was immediately alerted by the system therefore able to restart his breathing. I was so impressed by the ability I put one on my registry for the baby I'm currently expecting.
