Boppy Bare Naked Pillow

29 reviews

The Boppy Bare Naked infant support pillow now stretches to fit every waist size. Some things, however, haven’t changed. This versatile pillow still puts you in an ergonomically correct position to support tired arms and neck while feeding your baby and is still the best spot for baby while he or she is laying, playing and learning to sit. You’ve got a busy life ahead of you, so comfort is important. Just like your little one, the Boppy Bare Naked begins undressed and you can dress it up with one of the many stylish Boppy slipcovers (sold separately).

I did not buy this product at first. One of my friends got it for me when I was in the hospital. I had the my breast friend pillow support but, I had a c-section and it hit me right on the incision, this pillow on the other hand was perfect. It provided support but did not hurt me. We now have our second child and it still works great! We do have a cover on it and I wash it regularly. If you get one I highly recomend the cover because it will get dirty. Overall we love it!

I like the concept and multiple uses of this pillow. It worked well for baby tummy time and leaning to sit, also as a nice pillow for mom. It worked well enough for breastfeeding but I needed my son a little higher and felt that I was always adjusting this pillow as it would scootch forward on me. Football hold was difficult without positioning half the pillow behind my back so the thick middle section was under my baby, making it a little uncomfortable for me. Even with our issues it was still better than just using a regular pillow. It would be handy if it somehow connected around the back (a woman in my breastfeeding support group added her own velcro strap to the cover to keep it positioned correctly)

i received this as a gift from a friend who said she loved it and always used it while breastfeeding her daughter but when my son was born I felt like I had to hunch over to feed him on this and all it did was hurt my back so I ended using one of those memory foam pillows instead. Now that my sons bigger I use it to help him sit and he somewhat likes it, maybe it just wasn't for us.

I don't know what I would do without my Boppy. I am able to position my infant in several different positions for breast feeding and stay comfortable. I am able to read to my baby while nursing since I have a free hand. Also, baby is always very comfortable as well. We got several covers in case of soiling. I was so happy that Boppy had covers that matched our nursery theme, making our Boppy part of the decor.

I registered for a boppy, not realizing that with larger breasts this really doesn't work. It would have put baby up so high I would've had to hoist my breast up so he could eat. So for large breasted women planning on breastfeeding I wouldn't recommend one. Although they do work nice once baby is starting to sit up on his own. They're also pretty comfy to use as a pillow, lol.

The boppy has been so useful for breastfeeding but it's not perfect. When my baby was a newborn, the boppy didn't sit high enough, so I ended up putting another pillow underneath for more appropriate head height. As my baby grew bigger and heavier, the boppy was not firm and big enough to support him. Overall though, I'm happier for having it around for breastfeeding.

I could never get the hang of using the boppy early on while nursing. I felt more comfortable just using pillows to get the right height and firmness. At about 2 months the boppy became helpful when nursing but I still feel that it could be a bit firmer since it tends to sag. It is great for propping up though.

If you are planning on breastfeeding, you need this pillow. It's great to help support your arm and baby while feeding. This is also great to carry around the house easily with you so you have a quick spot to put baby down and know they are safe and comfy. It was ALSO wonderful when my son was just learning to sit up. I could put him on the floor with toys and know that if he did lose his balance and go to tip over, the boppy would keep him for banging his head! He loved it and felt like such a big boy sitting there. :)

I didn't find the boppy pillow to be comfortable to use while nursing. It didn't provide enough support for me. However, I loved using the boppy pillow as a support for my little one when she was learning to sit on her own. It kept her from falling over, and allowed me to leave her for a few minutes at a time. I also love that they sell slipcovers!

I originally never thought I'd need a Boppy -- I'm not a breastfeeding mom, we use formula so never really had a Boppy on my wish list. We ended up getting one before my daughter was born as a gift though and let me tell you, breastfeeding is not the only use for one of these. My daughter is almost 5 months old now and we've used our Boppy from day one to lay her in on the couch by us or in the bed with us while watching TV before placing her in her bassinet for the night. It works great so my young nieces and nephews can still "hold" the baby when they come over. When our daughter got sick with RSV it was a life saver because we were able to lay her down still propped up a bit so she could breathe better because although I'd love to, I couldn't sit and hold her 24/7. We've also used it for tummy time before she gained the strength to push herself up with her arms which made tummy time last a bit longer than it would have. I'm sure we'll fine numerous other uses as we go, but a Boppy is definitely not just for breastfeeding moms.

I bought my Boppy pillow for our first daughter because i saw that a lot of magazines shared great reviews. This pillow is really amazing. The price for this pillow is abit on the higher end. However some things i feel are just worth the few extra dollars. The pillow is firm which is nice because when you place your baby on there he/she wont sink into the pillow. And that just helps so much especially when your breastfeeding. The firm pillow also helps you keep your support too it's easier on the back i have found. Also the design allows you to use it in so many ways. Like when my little one couldn’t quite sit up by herself i was able to "prop" her up abit (don’t leave baby unintended though) they kind like that. Also it's really good for some tummy time for the little ones. Also they just look do dang cute however you seat baby with that pillow we've captured some memorable photos with both our little ones we're sold on our Bobby pillow. Sorry there is no dislikes here.

I love my boppy pillow! It worked well to position the baby up for breatfeeding, as well as for helping the baby to sit up. My baby is 9 months old and we still use this to help keep him upright. My husband also used this to position the baby when he would bottle feed him. I also like that this pillow is completely washable-several times when the pillow itself got dirty I would throw the pillow and the cover in the wash and it came out like new each time! Would recommend this pillow even to people that don't plan on using it to breastfeed.

In reality this pillow is versitile and comfortable but for breast feeding my newborn it was not as helpful as the Breatsfriend. I have both and used both it's just this one was better for helping me support baby in my arms as she slept but not good for feeding.

I love the Boppy Pillow! It was great help for breast feeding. It was easily moved from room to room in the house so i could put the baby down to make a bottle or do whatever. It was also great for the early morning to put in our bed between my husband and i. We could get another hour of sleep knowing he was safe and he was happy to be with us. :) Recommend it to all my friends who are new moms!

This pillow is perfect for nursing, tummy time and babies learning to sit. I loved it so much I got two, one for downstairs and upstairs :)

I used this all the time with my first. With the second you just don't have time to get everything positioned just-so. It's nice though to prop baby up on the floor with it - either on their tummy or when they're still a little wobbly when sitting.

I love my Boppy. There are so many slipcovers to choose from, to customize to my baby's decor. It was so useful when I fed my baby after my c-section, because it protected my incision area. My baby used it for tummy time and now that he is a little older, he uses it to lounge on and practicing sitting up.

I got my first Boppy 12 years ago and used it for everything from back support, nursing, supporting the baby to protecting the baby from hitting her head on the floor. I used this product for my third baby who is 8 months now to protect her as well. It's a great product and easy to clean or wash. So many uses and so great!

I love, love this product! I used it when I was pregnant, for breast feeding, to elevate my son and for him to sleep on elevated. He still uses it now and he is going to be 2 years old. It a great support product. A must have.

I love my bobby as it was a total life saver in first few months as son didn't like to sleep flat and this was something he loved to just relax in. A must have for nursing moms as its comfy for baby and mom. Great for tummy time, naps and helps to sit baby up. All bobby products are great. Love that you can personalize with whatever cover you like.

This is a nursing must have! It was a great support for my son, and for me, when nursing. It helped put him in the right position without my having to twist about orhold him up. We also used it for tummy time, hanging out, and I'd prop him up on it so he could get a different view of the world around him. I had a couple of different covers, so I could change them out when necessary.

I don't know what I would do without my Boppy. It makes nreaastfeeding so much easier. I am very petite and baby is very big and therefore too heavy for me to support on my own. Boppy helps me be able to support babys weight and makes feeding comfortable for both her and me. Plus baby loves it too. We also use it for lounging playing and in the first few weeks when she was really fussy the only way to calm her down was by laying her on the Boppy. The versatility of this pillow makes it the best purchase we made so far!

Boppy pillows are amazing! If your nursing these pillows come in handy to help raise baby closer to your chest. Relieved my back pain from slouching over while trying to nurse. When the babies get older boppy can be used to help keep baby upright when they are just learning to sit up. Good for a tummy time pillow also. Definitely buy!!

The Boppy is the best, especially for nursing moms. We used this religiously multiple times per day -- even contemplated buying one for upstairs and one for downstairs! Great for mom for nursing, great for dad for feeding, great for visitors who are nervous to hold a newborn, and great for use in propping baby up for photoshoots. In my opinion, this is a MUST-HAVE baby item!

This is great for feeding baby, tummy time, nap time, and even just to prop baby up for pics or just playing. My baby use to fall asleep in hers after her bath. I am so thankful I had this when I was trying to get good pics of her for family.

While this pillow worked great as a breastfeeding pillow it was also awesome to use all day. I used this with my twins for tummy time or just to hang out on. These also came in handy when bottle feeding both twins at the same time as they both needed to be propped up. This made it easier to feed both at the same time while still interacting with them both!

This product is an absolute must-have for a nursing mother! It provides excellent support to both mom and baby, and the covers you can get for it are all adorable. It's also extremely versatile: I use it to prop my daughter up for tummy time! My only complaint is that it doesn't give you much height, which is a problem when you have a small baby and are small-chested. That being said, I still rate this in my top 10 essential motherhood items.

Every mother needs one of these either for nursing or helping baby out. Gotta keep this on hand for my next baby!

Not sure what I would do without my boppy. It is perfect for nursing baby and then also works great to help baby in sitting position. This is a must have for all mommy's.
