My daughter started being afraid of the dark so we bought the twilight turtle and it was an instant success. She picks what color she wants every night and lays in bed counting the stars until she doses off. I love that there is no distracting music and that it stays on for a long time. If you set it on the floor it will illuminate the ceiling and walls or you can place it higher up to just light up the ceiling.

We got one of these for my daughter for her first birthday. She fell in love with it at first use, and now that she's older she loves to pick the color we set it on each night. One thing buyers should be aware of is that it shuts off after a certain amount of time, so it will not glow all night-- but we like this feature, because it helps the batteries last a long time.

Santa gave this night light to my son and he loves it! There's 3 different colors to choose from - the amber color is a little less bright than the blue or green. But all show up well and my son has a pretty good size room. I like that the light shuts off after 45 minutes, so it doesn't waste batteries. It's easy to turn on & off, so kids can do it too. Great product!

We used this (the ladybug version) when my daughter was very young as a nightlight. She wasnt very interested but I like it. It's nice that you can change colors of the stars and it shuts off by itself after a time.
now that she's older (18 mo) she absolutely adores it. Turns it on, changes the colours and points and the stars and moon on her ceiling, her bed, her clothes... etc - wherever it shines. Its fun for her and a nice comforting nightlight.

This nightlight is adorable. It shuts off automatically after 30 minutes which is convenient. The three colors are blue, green and red. The red is the hardest to see on the walls, but the other 2 colors are perfect, not too bright. My newborn loved looking at the stars at night. My toddler is more interested in using it as a toy since he has a regular plug in nightlight in his room.

My son loves this. Unfortunately, he gets too excited by it to help put him to sleep, but I'm sure he will get hours of entertainment from it when he is older. My mom bought it for us and she mentioned that it has been redesigned since she bought one for a friend a few years ago so that it is much cuter than before.

My son loves this. We turn it on at night time when we put him to bed and he smiles and looks up! Now that he is a year old, he will go over to it and change the color before he goes to sleep. He will also wake up in the middle of the night and cry until he finds the turtle. Once he turns it on, he lays back down and is happy. Don't think he likes the dark. If we have another child I will be getting them. Hoping for a girl though to get the lady bug!! :o)

My son loves his turtle and staring at the ceiling watching the constellations. He definitely doesn't do well in total darkness so this, partnered with a plug in soft glow nite-light, work perfectly when he falls asleep at night!

Okay this twilight turtle is amazing! Honestly, whenever its bedtime(my son sleeps in my room with me), I use this turtle, but not necessarily for him, also for me. It's just so calming and tranquil, who doesn't love this thing! And the majority of it is soft so as your child gets older, it could be a stuffed animal( right now I set mine in the middle of my room so it lights up the whole room equally, I'm betting everyone uses theres as stuffed animals already, haha). I give this product a plus, I say invest in one.

We had a nightlight in my son's room since birth. When he moved to a big bed he would play with it so I had to take it away. We received the turtle as a gift and it saved us during bedtime. Now the night light is safe for him to play with and it automatically turns itself off. The only downfall is that it goes thru a lot a "AAA" batteries. Make sure to always have three extra batteries laying around for when they die.

All three of my kids adore our little sea turtle! The light is just bright enough for them to feel like there is light in the room, but dim enough that they can easily fall asleep. The constellations are calming, and the turtle itself is very cute!

My older daughter loves it but my one year old, not so much. She likes it during the day because she pushes the buttons but when I put it in her room at night she stared at the light then started screaming. It totally freaked her out! I have since gotten rid of the adorable turtle.

I came across this item a few years back. I purchased the turtle with the sea creature pictures on the shell. It is just about the same as the one pictured here. It was a huge hit with my cousin. He would not go to sleep without it on! So, I also asked for one for my daughter. She received the Ladybug version (The limited edition Pink ladybug that matches her room!) and we love how it lights up purple, green or red. It has to be really dark to see the red on the ceiling, but her favorite is the purple! She loves it, and it turns itself off after 30 minutes so I am never worried about it staying on all night. It does great with batteries as well.

I recently purchased the pink ladybug for a girlfriends shower and it was a big hit there as well. I would highly recommend this item as babies and young children alike like this item. It is great for kids who are worried about the dark as well!

My daughter received this toy when she turned 1 and didn't care about it--two years later, when she and her sister rediscovered it while moving, it became a huge hit! They love to take it into the bathroom and turn off the lights and discover the star patterns. It is such an awesome educator and entertaining toy for them--of course it is up to you to explain how the stars change position by season, etc, but it's a great tool for older kids. I imagine that they'd love to sleep with it, too, but they get so much enjoyment out of it during the day that i just leave it as a toy and not as a soother. highly recommend to anyone considering it for an older child!

We have three one for each child! They love them and can't go anywhere without them. I recommend them to all my friends who's children have trouble sleeping without a light. They are better then a night- light not to mention more fun! A perfect gift!

My daughter got this item (well the lady bug version they make) as a birthday gift. I had heard they were cool, but figured that she being only one wouldn't care too much...boy was I wrong! She LOVES this thing (as do the 3 & 5 yr olds) and she gets quite upset at night if it isn't the first thing turned on when we head into her room for bedtime. It is really great, and luckily travels easy for those sleepovers at Grandmas! A very fun and soothing addition to any nursery!

My son has the turtle and my daughter has a ladybug version of this. It projects stars and a moon onto the walls and ceiling. It has a timer, so it turns off after a while. What I like about this product is if my babies wake up and are afraid, they can turn it back on and fall back asleep. They also love looking up and seeing the stars and usually lay and laugh at them. Highly recommended!
