We bought this brush when we had to transition from breastfeeding to formula and found that we had a really hard time getting the bottles completely clean from bits of formula that stuck to the bottom of the bottles.
The sponge at the bottom of the brush did a great job getting rid of the extra bits however, the sponge didn't last long and tore quickly (within a few weeks). For this reason we didn't buy another and opted for a brush from the Fly Lady with silicone bristles that also got the bottle completely clean, but lasted MUCH longer.
If you don't mind replacing the brush often then this definitely gets the job done. If you are looking for something that is longer lasting, this brush is not for you.
I use this bottle brush for my Dr. Brown's bottles. The tip is good to clean the inside of the nipples. The sponge/brush works well to clean out the inside of the bottles. I soak my bottles and clean them all at the end of the day, so I have had to problem not getting the bottom of the bottles clean.
This brush never cleaned the bottom of the bottle well because of the sponge. I think the all bristle brushes are better for getting a good scrub.
We use this scrubber brush for everything! Since my newest daughter refuses to take a bottle, it doesn't get used as much for it's original purpose as it does for things like cleaning out my water bottle and our wine glasses. It is a seriously good purchase and can reach and clean in areas your hand or sponge could never reach. Love it!
Functional, easy to use bottle cleaner. Even when the Dr. Brown bottles did not work for our baby, we kept this brush which worked really well for cleaning out other types of bottles as well. The suction cup base, which though seemingly handy, used to regularly come unstuck from our sink though.
We bought this brush (well we are actually on our second one!) several years ago to clean out the many bottles we have! It makes the process so much faster and once they graduate to sippy cups it works just as well if not better on the tall hard to clean ones!
This is a great product and I have used many!
