Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Soothe and Glow Seahorse - Pink

I received this toy as a shower gift. It is so soft and adorable! I like the choice of sounds or music and the different volume levels. I do wish that it could be set to play for a bit longer though. The light is decent - not too bright for bedtime and the fade out on it is a great feature to not startle the baby. I do not usually give it to her at bedtime though. My daughter is a cuddle bug and she really enjoys holding this one.

This was not a product we would have purchased ourselves, but received as a gift. Our baby enjoys hearing the soothing sounds (thankfully the music doesn't get annoying) and the light is something that seems to get her attention. When she cries, we have found that once turning the toy on, she will quiet down to hear better.

My son started waking up in the middle of the night and if we went in he would not go back to sleep. I got this for him when he was around 18 months old. We would turn it on when we put him to bed an he could restart it if it stopped and he wanted it to play again. We have had to replace the batteries twice now. He is 26 months old now and still likes it.

I remember growing up and everyone having a glow worm. I wasn't too keen on those. But I love the glow seahorse! We bought ours in the teal because I couldn't wait to find out the sex of our baby. The belly lights up not providing too much light but just enough so you can see an outline in a dark room. I was really surprised at how long the music goes on for. I also like that you can turn it off by pressing it. I am not sure how all that works. We've had this toy for 2 years and I still just push the belly and let it play. Our daughter loves it. She plays with it even though she's almost two. I really would recommed getting this. it's a great first toy for baby and one that they will play with for a long time.

My daughter has been sleeping with her seahorse since she was 1 and now at 3 she is still using it. The light is just bright enough to illuminate the room but still be relaxing. The music is indeed soothing and last long enough to fall asleep without repressing. Also, my daughter figured out that if you just hold the stomach while it is playing that it will turn off.

My mother in law gave my son the blue one. And he loved it when he was a newborn. The music is soothing and he just stared at the light. I love that it cuts off after 5 minutes and you can cut it off sooner if needed. It's soft and cuddly and I would highly suggest for a newborn.

My son got the blue seahorse for his first birthday. He LOVES it not just for bedtime but throughout the day. It seems to soothe him and make him smile when he is having a rough time. The only issue I have is how loud the music is. It is a bit loud for me especially at night. I was afraid it would wake my son up in the middle of the night if he rolled of on it. Thankfully it has a shut off switch. I actually put a piece of packaging tape over the inside speaker to decrease the volume.

This toy is great in that it offers both the softness of a stuffed animal and also the light-up and sound of a sound machine. I purchased the pink one for a friend for a baby shower and I have the blue one myself and we have been very pleased. My girlfriend says that it is one of her daughter's favorites. My daughter really likes it as well. The ocean sounds are soothing. My only complaint is that I feel it goes through batteries pretty fast. That is the only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars.

my daughters (3.5 and 2) still love to use these toys during nap and bedtime. It took me a while to figure out how many times i had to push the belly to get it to turn off (they kept pushing it again and again--thankfully, though, there is an "off" switch under the velcro closure). I found that i had to replace the batteries quickly--probably because my daughters use these so much--but they still love their seahorses even when they don't play music!

This little toy is a great addition to any child's bed, especially great as they transition out of the crib I have found. It is a great soothing item for my daughter when she wakes up in the night and is easy to use so even at one she can push it on or listen to the songs!

Both my daughter and my son have this seahorse, so we have a pink one and a blue one. It plays some lullabies and the belly is a nightlight. My daughter pushes it on many times during the night, if she wakes up and needs some comfort. Every baby should have one!
