We bought a snug ride 35 for our 1st and are now using it with our 2nd daughter. Our girls are tall so the weight is not a problem just outgrowing it with length but for #1 it was right after her first birthday and for our baby it is probably going to be right before. It has held up constant use.... we have three bases and one seat that we use between cars. Seems as comfortable as can be for these things and both girls seemed comfortable in it.

To say I have gotten my money's worth from this car seat is an understatement! My son always felt comfortable in this seat and I never had any problems carrying it, snapping it into our strollers (a snap-and-go and a BOB revolution), using it in the car, and on more than on occasion as a place to sleep (especially when trying to prevent ear infections when having a cold). My son, now 16 months old, used this well past his first birthday as a car seat. He was not especially small either, above average in height and weight.

I have one complaint. The foam is not the best quality and will degrade with heavy use of the straps. I called Graco for a replacement and it was sent quickly. This issue may have been resolved in subsequent years.

We wanted an infant carseat with the following attributes:

-Top safety rating
-Easy to install
-Comfy for our little one, and, if possible:
-In a cute fabric.

We registered and received the one pictured here (Black & White Houndstooth with Lime Green accents!), and it has ALL the things we wanted. Plus, it looks rad in both our cars. :)

Our guy is 10 months now, and we're JUST considering upgrading him; he's currently 23-24 pounds, but lugging around the kid in the carrier (which is something we never really did- we usually snapped the carseat into our Bugaboo Frog, or just took him out), is nearly impossible, as this carseat isn't the lightest of carseats. I don't know how anyone can lug them around!

I will say finding an extra black base was problematic- we wanted to buy one locally, but there were none to be found, and we were NOT going to buy a beige or grey base. We just have one base and swap the whole thing from the two cars, which isn't super often, so it's not a big deal.

We got this seat as a shower gift and it is perfect. The carseat lifts both out and into the car easily and attaches to the base securely. The level on the side of the seat ensures that it is fitted properly into the base and the actual base is very easy to install and move between cars. I love that this seat grows with my daughter and that we didn't have to buy her a new seat by her 1st birthday, instead she can stay in there to 35 pounds. My daughter feels very secure in the seat and there is no issue with her head flopping around like we have noticed while traveling in other carriers.

My daughter fit perfectly in this car seat from birth st 5 lbs until 15 months. She never maxed out on the weight limit but she got too long for it. My complaints with the SnugRide is the carrying handle started to not lock just after a year of use and also the strap to tighten the seat straps has to be pulled at an angle or it gets stuck.

Sensing that we were going to have a larger than average child (due to mine and my husband's height), we purchased a SnugRide 35. We have been very happy with this decision. The seat is easy to LATCH in, convenient to remove without waking baby, and attached to our stroller, which was a big plus. Still in great shape after baby #1 and now getting it ready for baby #2!

Great carseat, my son loves it! Safe and love that it goes up to 35 pounds and which is great since most others stop around 30/32. Very easy to wash fabric and adjust straps for babies comfort and safety.

I've used the Graco SnugRide 35 Infant Car Seat for almost 5 months now. I have the extra base that can be purchased for about $50 so that we can easily snap it in and out of either of our vehicles. The car seat is easy to manage and is very easy to snap in and out of the base. The level-indicator lets you know that everything is in the right spot. The neck insert is great but only for about the first month -- after that it's a little too big and caused baby's head to get too hot. The seat is a little large, but I think most infant seats are. It fits fine in our Dodge Charger and GMC Sierra Extended Cab but is a tight fit in the Jeep Wrangler and the VW Jetta. The other think I love about the car seat is that the straps are very easily adjustable allowing you to easily loosen them to get baby in and out of the car seat and the seat is adaptable to a variety of strollers other than Graco -- I am able to use mine with my Jeep jogger as well. Finally, the cover is easy to take off and wash every week or so or whenever needed as we all know babies are sometimes hard to keep clean. Overall a great seat for the price and I would highly recommend.

This is a perfect basic car seat. Our daughter has used this since the day we brought her home from the hospital. She's 6 months now and still uses it. I'd imagine in a few months we'll get a bigger one but for now it's worked well. We love how it snaps easily into the stroller and travel stroller.
