Maxi-Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat

We've used a Maxi Cosi Mico for our three daughters. I've never felt safer while driving with them in the car than when they were in these car seats. Super amazing quality. The only thing i can complain about is how annoying the buckle is as your child gets older. Instead of other car seat models, you have to place the lower buckle bits together and then click them into the buckle. A small thing that you get used to (it seemed like a big deal for our first but it is no longer an issue with our 3rd since we've figured it out) but it was a bit annoying in the beginning when everything else parent-related is so new and challenging, too!

I liked that it was light weight and clicked right into the matching Foray stroller we had. Other than that it wasn't that great. Sure it comes in neat colors and fits a lot of trendy brand strollers, but it was very uncomfortable for my son. The seat padding; well wasn't padded at all very thin and hard on the little ones. The canopy was inadequate and didn't like to stay in the fully open position. Plus after about six months the seat cover strayed to fall apart. I was very disappointed with this purchase and this brand since they are not cheap.

I would not recommend this car seat and will be purchasing a different seat for my second child.

This car seat is a little larger than some, but I feel like that is part of what makes it so comfy and safe for babies! I especially like the side impact protection that it offers, and the fact that it is compatible with many different strollers. It comes in a huge variety of colors, and works for children who are up to 29" tall - perfect for parents of tall, slender babies.

We used this seat for our infant and I highly recommend it!
Even when he was tiny my son looked very snuggly and safe in this seat - because it has it's own infant insert there's no need to add those accessory ones to keep their head from bobbling around. The straps sat tightly on his chest and were very easy to adjust to larger heights as he got bigger. The seat locks right into the car base easily and was very easy to get out as well. The cover and insert are simple to take on and off to clean too.
This seat was also great for us as it works with Babby Jogger strollers! We never had to have a bar, they have little arms that just clip this seat right in and it was so simple to take it from car to stroller in seconds.
The ONLY things I would consider negatives for this seat are:
- the room it takes up in a car, the seat in front of it will be pushed VERY far forward
- and the straps are a little harder to pull when loosing as compared to other seats

Overall I would buy this seat again.
