Got a few of these with my Pump In Style pump. My first daughter refused to use any nipples but the ones that came with these bottles, so I got a bunch more of them. The size was perfect for her, since she never took more than 5 oz at a time. My second daughter didn't like them quite as much, but she has never really wanted to drink from any bottle. I still use them for pumping, as they are a convenient size and I can keep a few in my pump bag for when I need them.

I like these bottles, but not the nipples that go with them. The nipples collapse when the baby tries to drink out of them. We also had some of the rings that go around the nipples crack. What I like about them is that you can pump directly into them with your medela pump. I use the bottles and the caps to store my freshly pumped milk into. I also like that you can use other nipples and caps on these bottles that aren't made by medela. I would recommend these if you plan on using them to pump with and not necessarily to bottle feed out of.

These bottles came with my pump. We tried using these with baby for night feedings and baby seemed to take in too much air. Didn't like the shape of the nipple either...it didn't really mimic the shape of the breast to me. We bought a different brand of bottles to do the night time feeding with. I still use these to pump and store with though.

We have tried LOTS of bottles. Dr. Brown's, Avent, Born Free, to name a few. Everyone of these had some good some bad and ultimately this simple system worked best for us. The Medela bottles don't leak as much as the others and there are not as many parts. Easy to clean, carry, and good for storing breast milk or for formula use.

This is great if you plan on using the medela pumps. You'll need extra bottles and nipples and covers. I bought this because I needed some spare bottles. My son did fine drinking from these bottles. It so easy to pump into these bottles, then store in the fridge, then warm it up, change it to the nipples, and feed to my son! Very useful to have extra parts for medela!

I LOVE the Medela 5 oz. bottles. I received a few with my Pump in Style Breast pump, but after using them with my son, I went out and bought more!

I was afraid he would have problems latching on during breastfeeding after having a bottle...but he switches effortlessly back and forth.

These bottles are the perfect size for young babies. My son is now 7 months old and we still use the 5 oz. bottles for him. They are also good for storing breast milk in the fridge.
I highly recommend these bottles!

These went perfectly with my Medela pump, however like other reviewers have said, my son did not take to this as he seemed to take in quite a bit of air without a venting system in place. I used them mostly to freeze my milk!

These bottles are good, the size is right, the nipples are good but the nipple caps are awful! There is a centimeter of space from the nipple to the inner cap and if the bottle has milk in it the milk comes out. The bottles are good to use with the pump. The nipples hold up to chewing. Only issue I have is the nipple caps ... Don't like!

These bottles work with my Medela pump but my daughter had a hard suction and would always make the nipple sink into the bottle. These bottles are also not the best in the dishwasher. Even those that would not touch the element would end up melting.

I have been using this bottles since day one (came with my Medela pump)... they are great because you can pump directly into them, the only thing is that the milk comes out of the nipple super fast. my baby finishes 5 ounces in just minutes and cries for more but when daddy feeds her with another bottle, 5 ounces are more than enough for her. I continue to pump into these bottles, but use other bottles for feeding.

These bottles came with my Medela pump. I love that I can pump directly into them and don't have to worry about transferring milk into other bottles however I don't really like the way these bottles work. The milk comes out of the nipple so fast that my daughter finishes 5 ounces in minutes. She winds up guzzling it down so fast and then cries for more and we both wind up frustrated. When we use other bottles 5 ounces is more than enough for her. I continue to pump into these bottles for convenience and storage but only use them for feeding when absolutely necessary.

I used a Medea breast pump, and these were great, because you could pump directly into the bottle. However, my son just didn't like this bottle. The air had nowhere to go while he was feeding. We used the Platex Vent Aire bottles, they seemed to work much better for my son.

Great to store breastmilk, horrible to use for feeding. Nipples collapse and no where for air to go and resulted in bad gas for my little one. Super easy to use with pump and storing.

These bottles work ok, but the nipple easily collapses. Most breastfed babies don't like a really fast flow, and what I did notice is that the flow is a little slower, even in the "fast flow" nipples as compared to other brands. This is nice for the breastfeeding mom because the baby still has to work to get milk out and it lessens the chance that baby is going to get used to a flow even the most seasoned of lactating mothers couldn't produce. I primarily used the bottles for storage of breastmilk, and they screwed right on to my medela breastpump. The lids work VERY well and don't let anything leak out when closed properly.

I used these for pumping and milk storage with my Medela pump. Never had an issue. They screwed on to the pump easily, were easy to transport, and never leaked. Can't ask for much more than that!

I like that these bottles work with my breast pump, but I really don't like using them for feeding. There's no way for the air to escape so the nipple gets sucked in and the baby can't get milk out.

I thought these were great because they were made to go with my breastpump, but in the end, I chose different bottles for feeding.

We bought these bottles with our last child as I switched to a Medela pump and wanted some that would easily work with it. For that reason they are great, they work flawlessly and easily with the medela pump and the whole system is great! I would not splurge for them though without the pump, because they are still just a bottle, but great with the whole system!

I personally have the Medela harmony manual breast pump with a set of Medela bottles on the side, specifically the bottles that this review is for. Besides the fact that the breast pump works flawlessly, the bottles are great as well. I'm a very organized person on a good day, and i love it when everything matches, which is why I was drawn to these bottles. Other than the fact that they match my breast pump, they're small which is great for newborns, and they are quite appealing with there color and art, but they are what they are... bottles! Honestly, there's no need to spend too much money on something like bottles unless, and for this reason only, you have a purpose, such as trying to keep your baby from forgetting how to latch on to the breast by getting a bottle that mimics breast feeding/sucking. If you have the money to afford specific bottles such as these, I say go for it, but know that they're are other bottle out there that are more worth it. Thank you for reading this review. I hope I helped even by a little bit.
