For the first month - 2 months after I had my son, I leaked like crazy. So annoying, and I wanted nothing to do with the pad-like disposable options out there. These were easy to throw in the wash and kept their quality. You can see them through your nursing tank or bra, but those first couple months with baby you stay holed up inside for the most part anyway! When I did have to go out, I'd just wear a bra with a bit of padding in it to conceal the lines that the nursing pads left, or if it really bothered me, I'd wear the thinner, disposable option.

I love that these nursing pads are organic and definitely more eco friendly than disposables. They're very soft and hold up well to washing. I recommend getting a few sets of these since, from my experience, breasts tend to leak during each feeding. I changed mind frequently since, unlike the disposables, the wetness stays on the pad leaving an uncomfortable moist feeling.

I have used disposables and other washable pads. These are comfortable but do not contour to breast like the Ameda washable pads do. This means they crinkle a little and therefore are a little more noticeable through your clothes. However, as far as comfort and absorbancy, these pads are superb. They are much softer compared to others. I feel washable pads are much more absorbent and comfortable than disposables.

I was using disposable pads, but they were really uncomfortable. They seemed to make me sweat, and would end up sticking to me. I switched to these, and fell in love! No sweating, sticking, or odor! They feel so soft, and held up great in the washer too! I will never use disposable again!

Washable is totally the way to go considering how long these sometimes have to be worn. I wore them for months before babe was born and months after. Being washable saved lots of money and they were very soft which counts when your milk first comes in and when you might be a bit sore. Will be pulling these back out for number 2!

I was using disposables right after I started breastfeeding, and the feeling was not good. They would get stuck and would hurt too much. After I made the switch the feeling was much better and I feel more comfortable with them.

These are a must! Disposable nursing pads don't always hold up the accidents. And they are easy to carry along and use for any other wet emergencies.

After you go through a couple of cheaper versions of disposable nursing pads and experience not-so-pleasant accidents in public, quality becomes important. These are a great product and I will definitely be registering for more before baby #2 comes along.
