Safety 1st Sliding Door Child Lock

The Safety 1st Sliding Door Child Lock prevents curious toddlers from gaining access to off limit areas such as a patio or balcony. The lock prevents the door from sliding more than 4” and can be operated from either side of the door. The minimalistic design blends into the door frame and the top of the door installation prevents access to toddlers and older children. The lock can disengage for periods of non use and the SecureTech locking indicator lets parents know the lock is secure.

We had a hard time getting this installed and in the end it was even hard for adults to get out to the patio. We ended up removing the lock and just using the built-in locks on the patio door itself.
