Rainbow Light Prenatal Multivitamin

I typically don't have problems swallowing any pills so my love of these may not be normal... My mom bought these for me to take at a local health food store and I found them to go down very easily, with no aftertaste. Also, unlike a lot of other prenatals, these vitamins did not seem to bind me up near as bad as others. I doubt there are any prenatals that actually taste good, for me my concern was really about if the vitamins were synthetic and the ingredients in the pill.

The hospital sent us home with the regular, green gummy pacis and we used them for about the first week until I tried one of these with him. At first, it looked huge on his face, it totally consumed his little peanut head but he loved it! Barely spit it out unlike the hospital pacis. Eventually, we grew quite a little stash because they are for the most part clear, and must grow magic legs and walk away places as I could never seem to find one when I needed it. As my son approached 6 months we tried to change him over to the "older" version of these (I think its the 6-18month as opposed to the 0-6 month like these are) and he ended up not liking that style as much as this one. The shape makes it nice because there is no "up" or "down" so when he figured out how to take his paci out and pop it back in, I never worried that he was ruining his bite like so many anti-paci folks warned me about!

These muslin blankets were probably *the* item I was most excited to use before my son was born. I was absolutely in love with them and the bee print is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen. when he was a newborn, I'd just lay one down on the floor to lay him on as a bit of extra protection. We also found great use of them when we would take him out in his car seat and wanted to shield him from the sun. He was born in June so we knew we needed something that would provide coverage, but that would enable him to breathe under there in the sweltering summer heat.

I will say that we planned on using these as swaddles and for about the first 3 weeks we did. But eventually we realized he was just too strong and needed something better so we used the Miracle Blanket instead and kept the muslin blankets for anything else (and I mean ANYTHING, we have a stash in the car, in the playroom, at my parent's house, and now that he's 11 months old and doesn't use a blanket, we keep one in his crib to use as his lovey) We have a pack of A&A that were purchased from Target that are a bit smaller than the ones you buy through Amazon or the A&A site and although 3 inches doesn't sound like a lot, I can definitely tell a difference and prefer the larger blanket instead. I had a long baby but found it much easier to swaddle and secure him with the extra 3 inches, even as a newborn.

My son absolutely kills these mashups - I started giving them to him when he was about 8 months although I think the target for this product may be a bit of an older age. At any rate, he loves them. I have tried it before and the flavor actually isn't too bad (even though I can't stand beets!!) I only give 4 start because we have ruined many-a-shirt with this pouch style of feeding - which really doesn't speak about the quality of the product.... it's just more about having a baby that loves to grab for things and occasionally he'll grab and squeeze at the right time and we have a red mess everywhere!

For the first month - 2 months after I had my son, I leaked like crazy. So annoying, and I wanted nothing to do with the pad-like disposable options out there. These were easy to throw in the wash and kept their quality. You can see them through your nursing tank or bra, but those first couple months with baby you stay holed up inside for the most part anyway! When I did have to go out, I'd just wear a bra with a bit of padding in it to conceal the lines that the nursing pads left, or if it really bothered me, I'd wear the thinner, disposable option.

I definitely trust this line of products - and have for the most part been impressed with the quality. I got this shampoo as a sample part of a travel set and ended up buying a full bottle. My son had small bouts of eczema as a baby but now that he's almost 11 months old he doesn't ever really have problems, and I attribute it to shampoos like this without the yucky harsh chemicals of some baby products. Just watch the eyes, it seems to bother him a lot if I accidentally get some in them.

I got these after I had my carseat professionally checked and she told me the window clings I had (suction cupped on) were not approved for use and could harm my baby if we were in a crash. So, we bought these and my husband tried to install them in our Altima. I'm not sure if we had odd-sized windows, but we had to cut them to even remotely fit our window. Also, there was no way to get the bubbles out - we squeegied, took off and reapplied, everything we could think of and nothing worked. Eventually, the cling stretched out too much from too many re-applications and we went back to our original shades with the suction cup & will take our chances.

We have this jumparoo and I just put it away as he's approaching 11 months, so I'd say we got a lot of use out of it. I started using it with him at about 4 months and would not let him stay in it for more than about 20 minutes at a time - however, if I wasn't worried about this delaying his walking (which, fyi, it didn't. He just about walks now) he would have stayed in it for much longer. It offers just the right amount of activities without completely overwhelming the child. There are 2 music settings you can use, one that plays music constantly (what we used in the beginning when he didn't quite jump as much) and the other setting that goes off once the baby jumps. I have a taller boy and I found the 3 height levels to be perfect, although he's a string bean so if you have a shorter, chunkier child, I could see you just staying on the 1 position the entire time. Another thing I liked is that we put the 3 AA batteries in when we got it and never had to change them, which was a great plus!

We really tried to be a family that constantly carried their kid, but it didn't happen. The moby took too long to put on, the ergo doesn't let him face out, and this is not comfortable for any sort of extended period at all. I have heard the newer models of the carriers alleviate some of that pain, but we have this original version and neither my husband or I could ever get comfortable carrying him. He did not like facing toward us, and even when he was old enough to hold his head up and face outwards, he still did not seem to be comfortable. He'd be good for about 5 minutes and then start to fuss. Perhaps it was more my baby and not this carrier but I would say if you have any sort of back problems or pain, I'd pass on this and look at the carriers that offer lower back support.

Bumbo Baby Sitter

We used & still use a bumbo with my 11 month old son when I feed him. We do not have a high chair yet, so this does the job well for now (although he's started to learn if he leans far enough to one side, he can tip himself out of it!) We have the tray that snaps on to the bumbo so he's able to feed himself finger foods well in this. He never really fancied me just sitting him in it so he could play because he learned to sit up and hold himself up pretty quickly. Either way, I still think we got our money's worth just using it as a temporary high chair until we decide on one that we want for our home. I didn't register for this gift but I'm glad it was gifted to me, don't be like me & think you "won't use it" - you will!
