We decided against putting this on our registry, we found either team angelcare or against it and decided we did not want the electromagnetic pad close to our baby for the majority of his early days. If you're co-sleeping, as most parents are, you are so close to your baby you'll be able to know if anything is wrong. Some parents swear by this, but others have spoken of false alarms freaking them out, which for a first time mama like me, was not something I was ready to deal with! My son ended up sleeping in a rock n play sleeper his first few weeks anyway, so we wouldn't have even been able to use this.

So I went back and forth on putting this on my registry and finally decided I couldn't get over how gross it was and took it off. However, after my baby was born, I quickly realized the bulb was not working for my son's stuffy nose and I needed to try something else. The first time I tried it, I had these fears of snot coming all the way up the tube into my mouth, GROSS! Let me reassure you, this is totally impossible. Even on the snottiest of days, it hasn't even come close to the filter they have in the hard plastic part. This has been a Godsend for us and works really well after you've squirted some saline up the nose. My son actually doesn't mind me using this on him but would wail whenever he saw the bulb!

My husband and I actually ended up using this in our room this year as we got a warm mist humidifier with vapo-reservoir for my son's room but we love this humidifier. If you clean it as specified, it should last you for a while. We've had it for 2 years and are still going on the original. I love that you can control the settings on if you'd like it to spew a ton of mist or just a bit.

When my son was first born we were still living in a one bedroom apartment and had no room for a crib. We used this for him to sleep in the first 2 months before he went into big boy crib and this was so convenient for us. The changer was perfect for those middle of the night/hazy diaper swaps when you can't see straight. My son never took to mobile's so that part really didn't matter to us but the p&p itself is awesome. I still put him in it (he's 10 months now) when I am brushing my teeth/getting ready in the morning so I know he's not getting into things he shouldn't. A great product that grows with children!

We did not register for these but received these and like them. I feel so "green" and good when I feed my son out of these bowls. However, I hate that you can't microwave them! Sometimes I'll warm his food up in a glass bowl and then throw it in one of these. It makes no sense, I totally get it ;) If you cook from fresh at each meal, this will be perfect for you, and probably will benefit us more in the future as he begins to eat more "people" food. But I cook big batches and freeze things so right now, this is not the best for us.

My husband (6'3) and I (5'9) can both push this stroller around with ease. We love Maclaren strollers as most offer plenty of basket room on the bottom which is a great bonus for us! Easy fold, fits in the trunk of a small car and is not flimsy like some umbrella strollers. http://theparentadvisor.com/products/detail/maclaren-volo/#write-review

This is a great quality towel that we used in the early days. However, at about 5 months old we realized my son was quickly outgrowing this towel and we needed to jump to the "oversize" hoodie towels. Other than the length factor, this worked wonderfully for us!

We have one JJ Cole organizer and another of another brand and they pretty much function the same. It is so nice when son has a dirty diaper to just go to the organizer instead of lug him around the house upstairs/downstairs to the changing table (which we really didn't use either. Son is a crazy roller!!) It holds every essential item you need for a diaper change and is super convenient. Quality of this organizer is great, I admit we really don't use the changing pad that often and just lay him on the carpet.

These are great to use when visiting family and friends or anywhere in public really. They disguise the poopy diaper smell and I never feel bad leaving a dirty diaper in the trash if I've closed it up good in this bag!

We live in a 2 level house and originally thought we would sooo need this for my son's room on that floor. In reality, it's sat virtually untouched as we keep a trash bag in the garage and just throw his dirty diapers out there and take it to the trash every few days. I personally found the twisty/cutty function to be annoying and a time suck. If you are on a budget, this would be a "pass" item in my personal opinion, even in a 2 story home.
