The cup holder is great to have. I couldn't imagine a stroller without one. The extra pockets are convenient, though a little small. There are two, each large enough to hold a smart phone, small wallet, snack cup. You could also stick a juice box or water bottle in each pocket, if you wanted to leave them open.

This tray is great! It opens nice and wide for easy access to baby. The cup holder is convenient. My only negative on this product is that closing the stroller when the tray is attached can be a bit cumbersome. It is just a strange grip to reach the one-hand close feature of the stroller, but once you get used to it, it works.
